WHO WE ARE?
Just For Patients was started by Christine Gannon after experiencing unfortunate experiences with loved ones in healthcare situations. On May 13th, 2006, her vibrant mother, Rosemary passed away from complications due to a series of medical errors. She was 67 years old with zeal and zest for life. A few years later, her Aunt passed away on January 18th, 2009 also from several complications due to medical errors. These tragic deaths were the impetus for Just for Patients, in hopes that with knowledge and information, navigation of healthcare could become easier.
Christine is a certified Patient Advocate from Ohio State University. She studied and received this certification to not only serve as a navigator and advocate for herself, but also her family and friends. She is also the Founder and CEO of Brightworks Consulting, where serves the public and private sector with a variety of consulting services.
